One weekend of the year, parents can shop for their kid’s back-to-school necessities without the 6% sales tax markup. The Board of Economic Advisors estimates that shoppers save $2.25 million, collectively. Clothing, school supplies and computers are all sales tax exempt for one weekend only, so be sure to scoop up a few deals and steals!
