Lowcountry Veg Fest 2016

If you’ve ever been curious about vegan food or a vegan lifestyle, now is your chance to learn more about the growing plant-based movement right here in the Lowcountry! The first ever Lowcountry Veg Fest is happening this Saturday at Shelter Cove Community Park from 10am-4pm. There will be ample vegan food from area restaurants, vegan beer and wine, food cooking demonstrations, speakers on vegan topics, vegan advocacy, and compassionate entertainment for the children.

From their website: Our goal is to teach & show how fun and easy it is to eat and live vegan in the Lowcountry and why you would like to do so for your health, the animals, and environmental conservation. Learn more about the Palmetto Plant Eaters here: http://www.PalmettoPlantEaters.com

The event is sponsored by Lowcountry restaurants and businesses like Mellow Mushroom, Delisheeyo, Carla Golden Wellness, Hilton Head Monthly Magazine, and so many more.
