Daufuskie Island, South Carolina
With no bridge to the mainland and few paved roads, this island offers true Lowcountry splendor. Arrive by ferry and spend your day exploring the white sand beaches, ancient oaks and historical landmarks. The second-oldest city in South Carolina, Beaufort truly embodies southern Carolina charm. Located in the Sea Islands, this city is known for it’s antebellum architecture and quaint downtown.
